COLORBOND® Steel Roofing · Sydney

COLORBOND® roofing,
built to last.

New COLORBOND® roofs, re-roofing and tile-to-metal conversions across Sydney — installed by a family-run team with more than 25 years of hands-on roofing experience.

Why COLORBOND® steel

A roof that suits the way Sydney houses are built.

COLORBOND® steel has become the default choice for new builds, extensions and replacement roofs across Sydney — and for good reason. It's light, it handles our weather, and when it's set out and flashed correctly it looks sharp for decades.

The material is only half of it. The difference between a good steel roof and an average one is the set-out, the flashings and the drainage. That's the part we care about most.

Built for Australian conditions

COLORBOND® steel is made in Australia and tested against our climate — sun, salt air, hail and heavy rain.

Light, strong and long lasting

A steel roof puts far less weight on the structure than tiles, which makes it well suited to extensions, additions and modern framing.

Thermally efficient

COLORBOND® steel with Thermatech® technology reflects more of the sun's heat, which helps keep the roof space cooler through summer.

Clean architectural lines

Concealed and exposed fixed profiles, crisp ridge and barge detail, and flashings set out to suit the design — not just covered over.

Low maintenance

No re-bedding or re-pointing. A steel roof is simple to inspect and easy to keep in good condition.

Full colour range

The complete COLORBOND® palette is available, including matt finishes. We'll bring samples so you can see them on site.

What we install

COLORBOND® roofing work we take on

New COLORBOND® roofs

Complete roofing packages for new homes, extensions, granny flats and multi-residential builds — sequenced with your build program.

Re-roofing and roof replacement

Strip the old roof, check and correct the battens and structure, then install new COLORBOND® sheeting, insulation and flashings.

Tile to COLORBOND® conversions

One of the most common jobs we do. Removing a heavy, tired tile roof and replacing it with steel changes the look and the maintenance of a house.

Roof plumbing and guttering

Gutters, box gutters, downpipes, sumps and rainheads in matching COLORBOND® — installed with fall that actually drains.

Fascia, capping and flashings

The detail work that decides whether a roof leaks. Valleys, penetrations, wall flashings and cappings done properly.

COLORBOND® wall cladding

Feature walls and full facades in matching profiles, aligned to the roofline and the drawings.

How it runs

From first inspection to final handover

  1. 01

    Site inspection

We come out, get on the roof where it's safe to, and look at what's actually there — structure, falls, drainage and access.

  2. 02

    Written quote

A clear, itemised quote covering profile, colour, insulation, guttering and flashings, so you can compare like for like.

  3. 03

    Scheduling

We lock in dates and keep you updated. On builder jobs we work to your program and let you know early if anything shifts.

  4. 04

    Installation

Our own team on the tools. The property is protected, the site is kept tidy and offcuts and old material are removed.

  5. 05

    Final check

We walk the roof, check the detail and the drainage, and hand over a roof that's finished — not almost finished.

Good to know

Common questions about a COLORBOND® re-roof

If your question isn't answered here, ask us directly — we'd rather explain it before the job than after.

Can I go from tiles to COLORBOND® steel?
In most cases yes. We assess the existing structure and battens first, and let you know what needs to change before we quote.
How long does a re-roof take?
It depends on the size, pitch and access, but most standard Sydney homes are stripped and re-sheeted within a matter of days rather than weeks. We give you a realistic timeframe with the quote.
Is the house exposed while the roof is off?
No. We only strip what we can make weather-tight the same day, and we plan the sequence around the forecast.
Do you handle the guttering as well?
Yes. Roof plumbing, gutters, downpipes and stormwater detail are all done by our team, so there's no gap between trades.
